After moving back to New Zealand in November last year, we were faced with the newly implemented Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act. This requires the lender to do a detailed affordability assessment on loan applicants which requires a lot of information and supporting documentation.

Stephen helped us find both a suitable lender for my situation as a remote worker, and ensure we had all the information required for a successful loan application. This was a very detailed process, our situation was non-standard, I did not have a history of local income or local costs and Stephen gave me confidence he understood the details well, and what would be required to satisfy lenders. Stephen was always easy to contact, responsive on both the phone and emails.

Stephen also provided us a lot of information on properties we were looking at, both from automated property reports and from his contacts in real estate industry, insurance and valuers. He also found us some off market properties to look at too.

We're extremely happy with the service Stephen has given us, he not only secured the lending for our lovely new home, but also secured us a large cash-back, and an additional flexible offset mortgage facility for a future bach purchase.

First time using a Mortgage Broker, I googled and sent emails to a bunch of Brokers. Stephen called back within a couple hours - always a good sign.
